How good is the Playboy Gold slot? Unfortunately, it’s not that good. Perhaps Microgaming ran out of budget, paying a severe amount of money to use the Playboy brand.

Our verdict on Playboy Gold of Microgaming?

Microgaming could have done much more with the popular and successful brand of Playboy. The base game is boring and monotonous.

The bonus games are a bit entertaining but certainly not exciting nor innovative. We are confident that Hugh would not be overly impressed, were still alive.

Microgaming has slipped away in the past couple of years from being the innovator and creator of beautiful online casino games to a lazy game developer. Now they rely too much on their big brand name.

It’s for a reason we see that Microgaming slots have been overtaken in popularity by providers like Netent, Quickspin, and Play’n GO.
