Why a higher RTP matters The higher the RTP, the more you benefit. For example, take an RTP of 96%. In that case, you can expect to lose $€4 for every $€100 you spin. But would the RTP be 97%, your expected loss would “only”  be $€3. Is the 1% difference so relevant? More than you think. If, for example, your starting balance is €100, the difference is $€1. But remember that you also wager your winnings. So in a session, your total staked amount could easily top €500. In that case: If the RTP is 96%, your expected loss amounts to: $€500 x 4% = € 20 If the RTP is 97%, your expected loss is: $€500 x 3% = € 15 So, you already see that the difference is more substantial.
