Golden reels, golden symbols and the background music seemed very familiar, so I just had to look it up.

Once I found it, there was no surprise that the title of the song is, here is the tie-in, “Gold”.

The dreadful number by Spandau Ballet is also continuously heard throughout the gameplay.

Without the mute button, this review of the Gold slot would have been very brief. I am happy I didn’t base my opinion of this game solely on its looks and sound. That would have prevented me from discovering the potential 10,000 x total bet that can be won. With a prize like that, I will happily sing every line of this horrid number at the top of my longs.

The Gold slot had my attention at that point, so I delved a little deeper into the winning possibilities of this game.

How does the Gold slot work?

Our verdict on the Gold video slot?

The Gold video is the very first release of the online casino game developer Big Time Gaming. And for a first release, the game is all right. The design can’t be called fabulous, and the bling theme is no help.

In case you missed it earlier, I hated the background music. Apart from the choice of the song, it would seem to me that playing the same tune constantly obviously does nothing to enhance the player’s experience.

Nothing wrong with the payouts of the Gold slot though. Especially during the Gold Bonus Feature, with the free spins and retriggers, things can work out very profitable for you.
